What do I need to use MicroPower Presence?

No special software or hardware is necessary for you to start using MicroPower Presence. All it takes is a computer that meets the minimum requirements listed below.

• Pentium III – 500 MHz
• 128 MB RAM
• Monitor with 800 x 600 minimum resolution and 256 colours (or higher)
• 30 MB free HD memory
• 16 bits soundcard
• Microphone and Speakers or Headset (microphone/speaker)
• Web cam (USB, Parallel or capture table) that supports video interface for Windows (VFW)*
• Windows 2000 or XP
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 5
• Stable Internet connection, 56 kbps minimum speed for events with audio conferencing, or 128 kbps for events with audio, videoconferencing and shared applications.

* The web cam is optional. Even if a participant does not have one, they will be able to participate in MicroPower Presence events normally.
